ABSTRACT

DR SYSTEMS is an international corporation specialising in developing, manufacturing and marketing direct Digital Radiography (DR) complexes for industrial inspection. This technology allows for quick, reliable, and efficient X-ray image capture and transfer to a computer for instant viewing and analysis. The use of portable digital radiography systems provides significant progress in non-destructive testing, which is an advanced replacement for conventional X-ray film-based radiography and a progression from phosphoric plate-based computed radiography (CR).

The presentation outlines the durable and reliable digital radiography systems designed for long-term use in difficult on-site operation conditions. The presentation will describe the solutions for various application areas: oil and gas projects (pipes and tanks welding, corrosion, wall thickness measurement, etc.), castings and components’ quality control in aerospace, marine and military segments, as well as in production facilities, laboratories and research institutes of any kind, security sphere, museums and art galleries and many more.

The speaker will share the extensive knowledge, experience, and skills needed to customise the complexes to the specific needs of our customers, whether it be offshore (underwater) NDT, rails radiographic testing, automatic control of pipelines and tanks welding, an instant inspection of oil well pipes before lowering, convenient quality evaluation of ready goods in the manufacturing facilities, or others.
