ABSTRACT

Discover the next generation of portable eddy current inspection with the NORTEC 700. The new platform brings conventional eddy current testing and advanced eddy current array capabilities together in one compact, easy-to-use instrument.

Designed to simplify inspections and improve operator confidence, the NORTEC 700 features intuitive workflows, intelligent application presets, high-quality imaging, and next-generation ECA probe technology. It supports a broad range of applications, including surface and subsurface crack detection, bolt-hole inspection, conductivity and coating thickness measurement, dual-frequency inspection, and inspection of layered structures.

This session will introduce the platform’s key capabilities and demonstrate how its flexible configurations and streamlined operation can help improve inspection efficiency, consistency, and reliability.

About the speaker:

Mathieu Leclerc is an NDT specialist and has been in the industry since 2007. He holds a degree in Physics as well as several NDT certifications such as ASNT level III in ET, CAN/CGSB (ISO 9712) ET3, UT-PA2, UT2 and PT2 and CSWIP Phased Array level 2. Mathieu worked with Olympus/Evident between 2007 and 2014 where he did hold different positions in product management and global support. Between 2014 and 2022 he makes his way to work for inspections companies in different fields such as oil and gas, Nuclear, and steel structure. Being involved in different aspects of services area like project development, inspection procedure, inspection and training. In 2022. Mathieu came back to working at Evident as a global support helping customer and using his field experience to support product development.
