Next-Generation Solutions for Thickness Measurement and Corrosion Detection

The Ultrasonic Thickness Gaging (UTG) and Corrosion Mapping technologies are crucial for ensuring industrial safety and efficient operations. The demand for faster inspections and digital test data is becoming more common in today’s scenario. To meet these demands, Evident is committed to developing new technologies that provide higher productivity without compromising quality and integrity.

In this seminar, we will introduce the Next-Generation HydroFORM™ Scanner, an innovative solution that incorporates design improvements for a complete two-axis encoding corrosion solution. The HydroFORM 2 has an ergonomic design that includes the ScanDeck™ module, integrated X and Y-axis encoders, and enhanced gasket protectors that extend the water column gasket’s lifespan. These design improvements ensure a higher level of accuracy and repeatability, making HydroFORM 2 the ideal solution for corrosion mapping and thickness gaging.

In addition to the HydroFORM 2, we will also present our customized reporting software that streamlines and speeds up the reporting process, utilizing Evident equipment like the 38DLP, 38Link, and Magnamike 8600. These software solutions can be further modified to integrate seamlessly with any IDMS or MES systems, providing a complete and efficient solution for corrosion and thickness monitoring.
